Experiência negativa: The indoor Padel courts have terrible visibility - lots of contrast due to some glass sides being covered by ads and some parts that let the light through so there are blind spots . In the Summer it is terribly hot as most of the courts are covered on all sides and don’t let the breeze through. As one of the most expensive places to play padel, I wish they would improve them.

Experiência negativa: Edit: After a year it got worse than ever. Completely packed. Expect queues for all the machines, people on every single inch of the floor working out, queues for the sauna, queues for the shower. It’s ANYTHING but a exclusive members club. I wish i was exaggerating but there’s not even space to walk.

Experiência negativa: I've been a member since 2017 and since the new management took over it just got worse and worse. It's probably the 2nd most expensive gym in the country, but customer service & support is basically non-existent (and rude!!). They probably aim to be something like Equinox (and charge their memberships accordingly, given it's Portugal) but instead you get a mediocre service and facilities. If money is not a problem for you, just go to the Ritz Four Seasons gym - it's literally 5 minutes away and it can't get much better than that (I've been to very nice gyms in London and honestly this one is top-notch). If you want something more budget-friendly, try GO-fit - you still get very good equipment (all Technogym, just like Club VII), swimming pool and friendly PTs... and the Campo Grande one is also in the middle of a park... all this for a fraction of the price you'd pay at Club VII.

Experiência positiva: I can see some mixed reviews from paying local members and so can only give my experience as a guest from a local hotel. Excellent gym with everything for a fussy weight trainer. Plus tennis courts, cafe and a really friendly and accommodating team. I couldn’t believe they even remembered my name! I guess it was my 4th day in a row. Can’t comment on change rooms. Spa was amazing - Stephen brings skills from another planet….shoulder pain for a month that 3 previous treatments did little for…..I can now move in motions I couldn’t for a month. Thanks Stephen and Team for making it a great training week while visiting Lisbon - appreciate the hospitality

Experiência negativa: Not worth the price – poor service and disappointing experience. Club 7 promotes itself as a premium fitness and lifestyle club, but the experience was far from it. I joined Club 7 while pregnant end of 2023, specifically because I was told I could: 1. Pause my membership postpartum with a medical certificate 2. Attend prenatal and postpartum classes 3. Enjoy a proper sauna as part of the wellness offering In reality, none of these things were delivered — or came with hidden costs and major frustration. Despite providing the medical proof, I was still charged monthly fees during the months I physically couldn’t attend. When I raised the issue, my membership consultant couldn’t help, and the manager dismissed my concerns entirely. There were no prenatal classes, and even the postpartum sessions were difficult to attend. The Clubinho (kids’ room) was full during that time, and I was told not to bring my baby — effectively making it impossible for me to go. And then came the endless renovations, which lasted far longer than expected. When the sauna finally reopened, it was smaller and had a huge panoramic window facing the door — so anyone walking in sees directly inside. It felt invasive and awkward, especially since the sauna was one of the main reasons I chose this club. Add to that frequent malfunctions of the sauna and steam room, an unfriendly front desk, and months of waiting for a refund they still haven’t issued — and you’ve got a gym that charges like a luxury club but behaves like the opposite. This year the price went up even more — and that’s when I finally left. I’ve since joined another club where I’m treated with respect and transparency.

Experiência negativa: Showed up to visit the club and get the pricing. It holds its reputation and recent reviews. Very uninformative staff, obnoxious and I’ve been told to come back. Staff is “not allowed” to give me a tour. Will update on my next visit.

Experiência negativa: Had been playing padel there regularly and one time I booked 4 courts for a local tournament. Had to pay up front, they ended up booking one court less which caused an inconvenience for the tournament. I was promised to get the refund but Gonçalo (the person I was talking to by email and to whom I transferred the money) disappeared & stopped responding. Came to the reception several times after that, no one is able to offer any solution to the problem and Gonçalo is never present. Months have passed, still no response and clearly no desire from their side to solve anything

Experiência fantástica: Some mixed reviews on google but our experience has been excellent, Padel & tennis courts in good condition. Polite and attentive staff and a stunning cafe with delicious food and coffees overlooking the tennis courts. Changing rooms looked great to me.

Experiência negativa: Bad service. We’ve booked a tennis court with a manager by phone, no one asked us if we are members of the club. When we came to play they said we are not allowed because of the rules. They refused to solve the problem, just told that all their managers know about this requirement and they couldn’t make a reservation.

Experiência negativa: We booked a tennis court to play, but when we arrived, we were treated very poorly. The management never mentioned during the booking process that club membership was required. Despite having already paid, we were not allowed to play, even though the mistake was on their end. The customer service was extremely disappointing

Experiência negativa: Been a member for years, for the past year it’s simply a construction zone. They’re renovating but you still pay full price and areas are closed or you have to walk all around the compound to get to places. In fact they even raised prices. Most frustrating thing is that the gym is full even around 9-11am. Before renovations mornings were pretty chill. Membership number should be a function of price and total members. They’re simply raising both, which makes it a bad experience. Sad, it used to be nicer with the old owners and before the renovations.

Experiência negativa: This is the worst price-to-quality ratio you can find. Let me explain: In early August, these guys closed the main gym and the locker rooms with saunas for renovation. In the meantime, they just crammed all the gym equipment into a tiny yoga and aerobics room. As for changing, we had to use the family locker room. They said the renovation would take a month to a month and a half. Naturally, there were no discounts or compensation during this time. Realizing that I should expect at least two months, I "went on a business trip" while still paying €20 a month for… who knows what. When I returned to the gym in October, the renovation, of course, wasn’t finished yet. A week later, they announced the grand reopening () of the main locker rooms—the ones with the sauna and hammam, which were the only reason I chose this damn gym in the first place. Do you think anyone warned me at the entrance that the lockers now require a special wristband instead of a lock before I went three floors down? Of course not. Oh well, it’s a gym—let’s warm up, climb back up to the reception. “Please pay an €8 deposit for the wristband.” Come on, you’re already the most expensive gym in town—couldn’t you cover the cost of the wristbands yourselves??? Alright. So, what about the renovated locker room? Fancy lockers, but now they’re smaller. Shoes definitely don’t fit under the bench anymore. The scale is gone—they’ll save up for a new one by December. Just the cheapest, most basic one from Worten. Now, at least, you can dry your slippers before leaving. But in exchange, they removed the drinking fountain. Because, obviously, who needs that next to a sauna??? They’re still saving up for it—can’t afford it yet. Hammam! No matter how much they "renovated" it, they never thought to angle the ceiling in a way that would stop condensation from dripping right onto your face. Sometimes, I feel like this whole renovation was done with the sole purpose of not fixing a single old issue. The sauna is smaller now. With a cool panoramic window. And some ridiculous holes in it, which visitors now diligently plug with wet towels. Speaking of towels! A couple of times, there were zero clean ones in the entire locker room, in all three cabinets! So there I was, naked, heading over to call reception—except… instead of a phone, there’s now a machine that just reminds you which locker your €8 wristband is linked to. And, of course, there’s no cell service in the underground locker room. I barely managed to catch a signal near a mysteriously sealed-off door that, before the “Great Renovation,” used to connect the locker room directly to the gym. For all of November and December, we had to go up one floor, then down another just to get there. But hey, it’s a workout, right? In January, they grandly reopened the passage—well, almost directly. With balloons! Seriously. Hooray, we did it!!! How pathetic… Meanwhile, they still (February) haven’t managed to remove the plywood sheets from the main staircase. There’s nothing more stable and permanent than a one-and-a-half-month-long renovation at Club 7! Respect for that! Oh, and they’re really good at raising prices—starting in March, it’ll be €136 a month! Luckily, I won’t be here by then, because literally any gym is better than this complete lack of respect for customers. I tried to cancel immediately after getting this email, but—surprise—you have to cancel at least 30 days in advance. So they happily told me, “We’re still charging you for February, dear.” So here I am, finishing my prepaid time. P.S. Today, I arrived and—guess what? They closed the main locker room again for renovation. Now we’re walking through the gym in our street clothes and shoes. I’m guessing they’ll be done in time for the renovation’s anniversary.

Experiência negativa: I've been a member for over a year and have been extremely disappointed with the level of service and quality provided. The place has been a building site for almost a year and we've been forced to use small changing rooms with no sauna or steam room while paying full price. It then reopened with an even smaller sauna, max 3 people squashed in and now they've closed it again as they forgot to add hot water and drinkable water for members. Notice was given of the most recent closure a day before it happened. When I asked to suspend my membership for the month they said only the general manager can respond but she rarely does and can take weeks. An awful experience.

Experiência negativa: Antipatia ao mais alto nível. Se procuram um clube/ ginásio que se diz "premium" e que de premium não tem nada, estão no sítio certo. Sou sócio faz tempo e cada vez tem vindo a piorar de dia para dia. Aumentam para preços ridículos que não merece aquilo que oferecem de condições. Falta muitas vezes gel de banho nos balneários, pouca limpeza das cabines de duche. Piscina constantemente fria. Antendimento ao cliente inexistente: ou não respondem aos e-mails ou não lhes interessa responder. Se falam com a parte de Marketing são atendidos por uma funcionária que se acha superior aos outros e que notoriamente capacidade é zero.

Experiência negativa: The padel court quality is unacceptable. I've never seen any court in Lisbon in such poor condition. The club itself is a constant construction zone. Even that - the have increased prices recently, that were already at their highest. To play padel you have to wait on queue on the reception to pass registration process, that takes up to 5 minutes. Not that long, but why not to give your clients some form of cards that can speed up that process. And to get locker keys you have to leave any document at the reception.

Experiência negativa: Vi uma situação muito preocupante ontem nas instalações. Havia crianças nuas nos balneários normais junto de adultos também nus - uma situação que descobri ser ilegal quando questionei a receção. A funcionária confirmou que as crianças deveriam usar apenas os balneários familiares. Quando sugeri a colocação de um aviso na porta para informar os pais desta regra (já que muitos parecem desconhecê-la), a resposta foi negativa. Alegaram repetidamente não terem qualquer controlo sobre essa área, dizendo que a sua autoridade se limitava apenas ao piso da receção. O que me preocupa profundamente é a atitude de desresponsabilização total. Mesmo após eu reportar uma situação que confirmaram ser ilegal envolvendo menores, a resposta foi basicamente "sim, é ilegal mas não está sob nosso controlo". Recusaram-se até a implementar uma solução simples como colocar um aviso informativo que poderia prevenir estas situações. Esta postura levanta sérias questões: se algo mais grave fosse reportado, será que também responderiam com o mesmo "não está sob nosso controlo"? É muito preocupante ver uma instalação pública demonstrar tal indiferença perante a segurança e bem-estar das crianças.

Experiência positiva: My wife and I are part of the Club since 10 years. After the change of management, number of members has increased tremendously during the last year. Recent spa renovation is a big deception as we have more lockers, smaller showers, smaller sauna (sic), no resting area. Club 7 is becoming a busy train station. The orientation taken is for quantity with a serious sacrifice in quality. The pool has become too busy. I wrote to the administration and they did not even dare to reply. Too busy attracting more and more clients. We will not stay for long.

Experiência negativa: After a million euros and months worth of renovations (during which members paid full price) things have got worse. They put in a 2 person mini sauna for a club with 2500 members. No seating for the elder members and thumping music in the tepid and weak Turkish bath. But you can do what you want when you have a monopoly I guess. Tiny lockers that you can’t fit a motorcycle helmet in for an extra 300 a year. Experiência negativa: Be warned - this is a terrible gym. Terrible management. Ive been a member for 1.5 months, there is never any place to sit in the cafe or outside, the gym is always full so it's impossible to workout in. People "network" and harass you for money if you do sit. Trainers are standing around mocking and laughing at clients. This club advertises itself as exclusive and it is far from it. Save your money and go elsewhere. Attempted to contact management and was pushed aside.

Experiência negativa: Management that tries to avoid you at any costs. If you ask to speak to manager they redirect you with emails, then takes weeks to answers. (At least Holmes had humans and manager solving your problems) They raises costs without any warning even on new contracts, which just show they monetization practice as piggy banking on their members. This is a shame because the club facilities are good and it seems many other members have been in the same situation as me. This will prove to be their downfall, slowly but surely.

Experiência negativa: Shame, was a member for a year. Conviennent for anybody who moves here but honestly not worth it. They are in the process of renovating the club because of how bad it was previously and keep getting delayed they didn’t comp or even over a anything to members who had to pay full price while everything was being renovated. The gym is constantly overcrowded because they’ve let in so many members in the last year. This causes massive problems especially for tennis and padel courts because lessons take most of the slots and you have to book weeks in advance to have a time that’s within correct hours and not at 10pm or during the day. Couple times we booked at 6-8pm and teachers moved us from the good courts to another one because it was more conviennent for them. They increase their price every January and let us know in some shady email. They are fixing the gym so won’t comment on the poor condition of it before but it won’t be any bigger so won’t solve the overcrowding issue. Finally like every health club leaving is harder than getting a visa constantly trying to squeeze as much as they can and not answering phone calls to cancel or having emails unanswered. Poor customer care and really poor management who should seriously just talk to their costumer to try and create something respectable. I don’t recommend this club for anyone.

Experiência negativa: Great courts, but absolutely terrible management & zero understanding of customer service or even consistency in the terms. My husband and I recently moved to Lisbon and were very excited to get memberships and play, but were told the wrong terms and prices on sign up. When we later questioned the prices that we're being charged for the courts the team member got back to us with "Sorry, I should have known better but there's not much we could do." Our emails were ignored by the memberships manager and even though we tried to cancel our memberships they kept on trying to pull money from our accounts. Too many other good businesses in Lisbon and Club7 is not one of them. Don't waste your time & nerves.

Experiência negativa: Stay away from this club, as many others have said the level of customer service is shocking, especially for expats. We were given false information about court hire fees when we signed up and never sent a copy of our contract. We then tried to cancel during the grace period but were told no refund was to be given (on the $150 signup fee which we never even used services for) and they then proceeded to try and direct debit me for the following months even after I requested a cancellation. The frustrating part is this club is well located and has so much potential, but is left down by a comical management team and one of the most poorly run sports / members clubs I've ever attended. The gym is about 15 years out of date. The Wi-Fi doesn't work and the rates to hire a court are some of the highest across all of Europe. If you want to play tennis, sign up at Monsanto instead.

Experiência negativa: Um Clube com enorme potencial, mas longe ainda de todos objetivos, uma recepção muito bem montada, mas com uma entrada toda largada, escura, zero iluminação. Basta descer as escadas e entender que o que pagamos, esta longe comparado a entrega e comparados a bons clubes mundo a fora. Ginásio com aparelhos em péssimas condições, antigos e sujos. Casa de banho masculina antiga, suja e tudo muito mal cuidado e instalado. Instalação da piscina infantil, deprimente. Espaco Kids, com brinquedos quebrados, sujos, com zero estrutura para crianças. Apenas como positivo e muito bem educada, a monitora que fica com as crianças. WIFI, nao existe! Algo impossível, simplesmente nao funciona. Nota se de longe que uma boa gestao, passa se longe, infelizmente. Como moro em frente, acabo por ir, pois nada ainda bom e por perto. Inacreditável algo em um ponto tao nobre da cidade de Lisboa, neste estado. Potencialmente perdido.

Experiência negativa: DO NOT send your kids to their camps. We gave it a try as the schedule was filled with sports activities such as tennis, padel and swimming but turns out your child does this for 30 mins with no lessons or proper coach. My kids were 9 and 10 and they did not separate the children by age group so they ended up doing these activities with 4 year olds. The rest of the time they are left to themselves in a room filled with baby toys, no games no movies as promised. And when you contact them after paying: they do not compensate you but offer you to come back for swimming. The whole thing disorganised from the sign up to getting any type of information. As for the food they provide it’s mediocre at best. There are way better camps than this in Lisbon for your children.

Experiência negativa: New investors/ managers are completely incompetent and do not deserve to manage a lemonade stand. I know dozens of members who have quit this past month due to new rate hikes. This is club is the big joke of town. The tennis courts are always empty as they charge their members to play -- so very few do. You go here if you don't know any better / have little taste / tourist trap.

Experiência negativa: I've been playing Padel here for over a year. Staff is inconsistent and sometimes even rude. Recent change of management. Now costs 180 Euros per month to play tennis once a week? Hello? Previously, only members could play tennis. After speaking with management, Non-members were allowed to play if they paid 15 euros/hour per person since the courts were ALWAYS EMPTY. Btw, This is more expensive than Los Angeles or South of France (?!) - Did they forget we're in Portugal? Now only members can play (Costs over 120 euros/month) PLUS they have to pay 15 euros/hour per person. Example: A member pays 120+ Euros per month and plays once a week for a total of 180 euros per month(!?) It feels tragic and such a waste of what could have been a good club. No sense of business or customer service. They have just lost 7+ players to Monsanto Tennis Club (4-7 euros per person per hour - no membership required) because they rather have empty courts and the false sense of exclusivity than willing & paying customers at a fair price.

Experiência fantástica: There are 5 tennis courts and pickleball courts, swimming pool, fitness, and restaurant. The surface of the tennis courts (the staff) called Hybrid court . It is new experience to play on this type of tennis courts. It feels like playing on the carpet. The facility is very nice and clean. And staff is very nice

Experiência negativa: Fiz uma marcação de 1 campo de Padel para dia 14 de Janeiro de 2021 das 21:00 ás 22:30 tendo sido dada a confirmação da funcionária de serviço do clube. No dia 14 ao chegarmos ao clube, informaram-nos que tinha havido 1 erro, e não foi possível solucionarem a situação, tendo os 4 jogadores ficado sem a possibilidade de jogar e com o prejuízo da deslocação que no meu caso foram cerca de 100 kms. Lamentavelmente não recomendo este clube!

Experiência negativa: Boa noite, É lamentável ter de fazer uma descrição destas, mas a experiência tida neste clube foi péssima. Como pode ser possível fazerem marcações para jogos de Padel e sem qualquer aviso prévio o desmarcarem. Neste caso houve quatro pessoas que se deslocaram e fizeram imensos km's para chegarem ao Clube VII e serem informados que não podiam jogar.
